8-3-06 Hope you like the media.  We have lots that never even made it online from 2005.  No doubt it is safely tucked away in our archives.  We will have even more for 2006.  It's always fun to go back and reminisce...Happy Wildwood Days!

8-1-06  Happy Birthday to my awesome wife and good mother of our children, Sharon!   She will be at the Rio Dell City Council Meeting again tonight,  recording the proceedings for our archives.  That's right; we will be there for every meeting  lol ;-)  Two more days until the events.  We look forward to bringing online some great media.  There's no doubt that many of us locals at the event will be talking about the Scotia Annexation.  It's the old sales pitch - everything's a negotiation.

Also: Supposedly, closing the ball park for the summer was all in preparation for the Women's Softball Tournament. Apparently, a poor lady broke her ankle in a gopher hole last year.  Ouch~!  Can't wait to see the tournament though, hopefully it's worth all of the down time that the ball park has had..

And:  New Bocce Ball Courts,  located in front of Fireman's Ball Park.  They put an awful lot of work into making it playable for Wildwood Days.  Hope we can keep them that way.  Bocce ball seems to be quite entertaining. 

I am told by one of our local women athletes that there is a running event, also.  Much, much, more to come!
